何为 The M.M.R.A.？

The M.M.R.A.（元域迷宫研究协会），全称为 Meta Maze Research Association。我们是人类阵营中实力最强，权力最大且最具合法性的组织，代表着整个人类对这空间的探索。我们的职责是探索并研究The Backrooms-MM，让这片迷宫的真相浮现在大众眼中。我们认为这片迷宫在区域大小上具有显著差异，它似乎是没有界限的，会有源源不断的层级、实体、物品、现象和其他什么东西被人类探索，所以它带来的潜力远超其它什么东西，因此我们研究它、利用它、建设它。

我们的历史？

一切的开端

故事起源于1991年，在此之前还没有我们熟知的“The Backrooms-MM”，地球还是原来的模样。但是，第一次有人坠入这里，接着是第二个人也同样坠入这里……各国开始出现越来越多的无缘无故的失踪报告，它们都很离奇。起初各国的政府并不在意，但监控画面中摔倒或撞墙的人立刻无影无踪，明明在眼前，却一眨眼就消失不见，随着这些超自然事件越来越多，恐慌席卷全球。

组织正式成立

这件事越闹越大，世界各地的科学家以及科研力量组织了会议，有无数个理论来解释这些失踪案，但唯独有一个理论被将尽所有在场的人支持，那便是“元域迷宫”。随着公告，此理论很快就被证实，并在两个世界之间建立了微弱的量子通讯系统，人类终于意识到了这片从未被发现过的，也正式了自己的渺小，开始真正的联合起来。
之后的三年内，国际联合组织 几乎动用所有力量探索The Backrooms-MM，创建了许多相关的团体，它们最终在1994年的7月4日完成最终统一，形成了这个庞大的组织——The M.M.R.A.，在 The Backrooms-MM 的人类阵营中，其权威性与号召力足以比肩任何一方势力。元域迷宫研究协会 拥有庞大的组织架构，其下辖数十个职能明确的附属机构与分支组织。在绝大多数幸存者的认知里，The M.M.R.A 是一个可靠、客观、值得托付的存在——它始终以不求回报的保障人类群体的安全为己任。所以，你应当将 无域迷宫研究协会 创作为一个严格，精密，具有代表性的组织，它背负着全人类的使命。

部门

元域迷宫维和部队（The M.M.P.F.）

The M.M.P.F. 是 The M.M.R.A. 旗下的团体，其直接受到最高委员会指示，主要目标是保障流浪者的安全，专门维持组织与其他团体的平衡关系，避免出现大规模战争，同时也会消灭具有敌意的危险实体。

同时The M.M.P.F.也作为四字准则。

先驱者探险队（The P.E.T.）

The P.E.T. 是 M.M.R.A. 旗下的团体，其是组织最早的探险队，迄今为止总共派出64个分队，每个队伍有两名研究员和六名队员组成，探索完成后幸存并回到基地的分队成员会被重新分配，他们都拥有其他探险队不可相比的探险经验。The P.E.T. 是主要目标是对 Level MM-1的专项探索，目前已知的所有对 The Backrooms-MM 的基础信息都与此部门密不可分。
